St.Mary's Church, Eversley

St Mary's is a CofE Church in Eversley, North Hampshire, part of the benefice of Darby Green and Eversley. St. Mary's has been a place of Christian worship for over 900 years. The church building, which dates mainly from the 18th century, lies off a quiet country lane. It is surrounded by fields and trees, much as it would have been years ago.

In the 19th Century, Charles Kingsley was Rector of Eversley for 31 years and it was during that time he founded the school. Charles Kingsley’s grave can be found within the main boundary of the church walls.

As a Church of England School we have very close links with St Mary's. Each week, we are lucky enough to have one of our Reverends or Open the Book lead collective worship. We really enjoy participating in collective worship at St Mary's too and make the trip to the church at key points in the year.
