It was a beautiful autumn morning as years 1 to 6 walked across the fields to church this morning for our harvest festival. The YELA Bus from Yateley kindly shuttled the Cassatt children up to the church, as the walk would have been a bit of a challenge with such little legs. The police kindly stopped the traffic so that the children could safely cross the A327. A huge thank you to them and the drivers from R.Collards who slowed down and stopped while we were waiting to check if there was anything they could do. Thank you also to all the CKS families for the donations of food for the Hart Food Bank in Fleet.
Picasso Class shared their learning about Harvest across the world and wrote thoughtful prayers. Lowry Class entertained with their 'Riding Tractors is Fun' song inspired by George Ezra's Shotgun.
Thanks as always to Rev Lerys and Rev Rachel for sharing harvest with us.
