SPEAK OUT! STAY SAFE! was the NSPCC message we have been spreading over the last few weeks.
The Danceathon on Wednesday was a day full of dancing, tutus, legwarmers and most of all smiles. The day began with a 'Wake up and shake up' session led by some of the staff. Throughout the morning a bell was rung to signal 'DANCE TIME'. The children, staff and parent helpers leapt into action and danced together. The day ended with a whole school dance where we all learnt of the amazing amount we had raised on the day (to be updated). There was a huge gasp across the hall as the first words "Two Thousand..." were uttered from Mrs Taylor's mouth and a huge cheer when the rest of the amount was revealed (£2200).
A huge thank you for all the CKS families and their friends who sponsored the pupils so that we can support all the important work that the NSPCC do.
