- "Serve one another humbly in love" Galatians 5:13b
As a Church of England School we have very close links with our local church, St. Mary’s, Eversley.
St. Mary's has been a place of Christian worship for over 900 years. The church building, which dates mainly from the 18th century, lies off a quiet country lane. It is surrounded by fields and trees, much as it would have been years ago.
In the 19th Century, Charles Kingsley was Rector of Eversley for 31 years and it was during that time he founded the school. Charles Kingsley’s grave can be found within the main boundary of the church walls.
We visit our church regularly and welcome clergy and parishioners into school to support worship, including, “Open the Book.”
We have a very active Prayer Group that is led by St Mary’s clergy and attended by many parents each half term.
