Teachers in state schools are required to undertake five Inset days in addition to the 190 teaching days children are required to be in school. The days are determined by the school in order to meet the training needs of the staff.

The INSET Days for 2023 - 2024 are:

INSET DAY 2 – Wednesday 11th October 2023

INSET DAY 3 – Tuesday 2nd January 2024

INSET DAY 4 – Wednesday 13th March 2024

INSET DAY 5 – Monday 3rd June 2024
