Contract: Temporary Contract until 31st August 2019,
Salary: Grade B
LSA Hours: 9am – 12 (5 days a week) and LTS Hours: midday to 1.10pm 5 days a week
The Governors of Charles Kingsley’s CE Primary School are looking to appoint a friendly and caring person to join our team of committed Learning Support Assistants and Lunchtime Supervisors.
Our Support Team are highly valued by all stakeholders and play a key role in the ensuring pupils success. Although the post is initially temporary due to restructure, we are looking for that someone special who will show commitment to the role and the school.
We are looking for someone to work in partnership with the class teacher and school who:
enjoys working with children
is able to work as part of a team, prepared to share experiences and learn from others
has a positive outlook on life with a good sense of humour
is organised, flexible and able to work independently
has competence in Literacy and Numeracy and has excellent oral and written skills
demonstrates high levels of emotional intelligence
has high expectations of self and others
Other Responsibilities will include:
Helping to organise our pupils in the hall, classrooms and outside areas, encouraging good manners and supporting healthy eating
Supervising, supporting play activities and encouraging children to participate in lunchtime activities
Promoting independence, fair play and positive behaviour
Ensuring the safety and welfare of all our pupils
Administering of minor first aid
