- "Serve one another humbly in love" Galatians 5:13b
Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
A beautiful service about ADVENT and what the letters mean in the preparation before Christmas. The decisions that need to be made, our expectations for the time with families as well as a time of thanksgiving.
Many of the Year 2s and Year 5s helped lead the service with prayers and readings.
FOCKSA organised 2 wreath making evenings - the school smelt amazing with the smell of fir, cinnamon and orange as well as mulled wine and mince pies. There was lots of laughter and some very proud parents and grandparents as they carried their Christmas wreaths home carefully. Thank you FOCKSA for organising something new.
We opened our doors to prospective parents again this morning. The children showed a range of different learning around different parts of the school.
Year 6 took part in the Remembrance service at St. Mary's this morning. They laid the wreath and were part of the service inside and outside the church. This followed the work done in school on Remembrance that all the children have been doing.
The first FOCKSA movie night since 2019.
What a wonderful evening!
SING was a great choice of movie and watching the Y6 and YR buddies watching it together was lovely - showing what a special relationship they have.
Thank you to FOCKSA and the staff for making this possible.
A huge thank to FOCKSA for organising the Bags 2 School not just because of the money we raise but also for encouraging us to clear out our wardrobes.
Another opportunity to welcome perspective parents into the school and share why CKS is so special.
The Year 5 ad 6 that represented the school built on their achievements in the first run earlier in the year. The same determination and support for each other was shown throughout the event.
Some of our KS1 represented CKS at the School Games at Elvetham Heath School. They made us proud showing their CKS value of R.E.S.P.E.C.T.
A full day of sport for them with the Festival this morning.
Our first festival day was a huge success. The children came dressed in their P.E. kits with their team coloured t-shirts. The paired year groups had huge fun showing off their newly learned or practiced skills.
We can't wait for the next one.
