Simon Murray, the Icky Doo Dah author, was back today to work with Year 4, 5 and 6. There was a buzz that an author was visiting us and going to share some of his writing and illustrating secrets with us. The characters the children created and then the stories that formed in their imaginations were brought to life on story boards. The pride they took in their work was wonderful to see.
Mrs Connelly ran the next round of Reading Guardian safeguarding and training this afternoon. We are excited about welcoming more members of the CKS community into the classrooms to support reading.
Thank you to all the parents that came to the meeting this morning. All the information will be sent via Parental if you couldn't make it.
With all the excitement and full diary before Christmas the Autumn HOC assembly happened this morning. It was wonderful to be able to invite proud parents in to celebrate their children's achievements in helping the community.
