If you would like your child to attend our school, please see full details of our admission arrangements below.
As an Aided Church of England School, we have our own Admissions Policy which explains all admissions arrangements, how we consider applications for every year group, over-subscription criteria (if required) and how we offer places should there be more applicants than places.
Please see below our Admissions Policy for 2020/21 and 2021/22. This includes a supplementary application form at the end of the document which is used in addition to the Hampshire County Council On-Line process, if you intend to apply on faith grounds.
Please call the school office is you require any further information about our school’s admission arrangements.
FAITH APPLICATIONS for SEPTEMBER 2021
We were concerned due to COVID 19 how parents would be able to meet the criteria of Faith Support for the period of lock down. Our policy currently states that in order to be accepted as faith, you must have proof that you have worshipped regularly for 24 months. We appreciate this might have been a challenge. As CKS is an over-subscribed school, this will need to be addressed as many parents apply to us under the faith criteria and this faith support has a higher ranking priority within our policy.
We therefore made an application to the Office of the Schools Adjudicator (OSA) in respect of the Admissions Policy for 2021. The information regarding this application can be seen below.
We have received notification that the application was accepted and therefore updated our 2021 Admissions Policy.
