Headteacher's Welcome

Welcome to our school website, I hope you will find all you need to know about our thriving school where the children are at the heart of everything we do.

Charles Kingsley’s C of E Primary was founded in 1853 by the well known author. He built our school to serve the children living within Eversley and Bramshill. It stands today as testament to his vision of education for all; 150 years later, we continue to live his vision out. You can read more about this here.

We are proud to be a church school. At CKS, we recognise that every child is unique, and that our core purpose is to create a nurturing learning environment based on Christian values. We believe that learning and growing in a supportive Christian environment will strengthen the values, principles and personal beliefs of our children, equipping them for living life in the 21st Century.

Charles Kingsley's C of E Primary school is a warm, happy and caring school where every child is known and valued. In November 2023, Ofsted judged our school to be good with outstanding features. You can read our report here.

‘This is a thriving school, permeated by warm and happy relationships.’

‘Leaders are determined that no child feels unseen and unheard.’

‘Children in the early years get a great start to their education. The provision is exceptional.’

Pupils develop a deep love of learning and achieve highly in most areas of the curriculum.’

We would be delighted to show you around our special school; we offer personalised tours during and after the school day for families who are considering CKS as a school for their child/children.
