- Love. Courage. Hope.
The third CKS Festival was as much as a success as the previous two. The morning started with the children doing Wake Up and Shake Up on the playground in their house colours. As it was so cold, it really warmed everyone up.
First out were Year R whose festival was based around football skills, something they are getting better at considering all the sports awards they are getting.
They were followed by Year 5 and 6's Netball tournament, which was a true exhibition of teamship and sportsmanship. Everywhere you looked the School Sports' Values were being demonstrated.
The last festival of the morning was the Year 3 and 4's hockey tournament. There ware some amazing goals and some equally amazing saves. The School Value of R.E.S.P.E.C.T. was shown on every pitch in every game.
In the afternoon, Year 2 shared their fire dance and Year 1 demonstrated their gymnastic learning to each other and Year R.
After all the points were added Trusty Brooms were declared the winner of this Spring 1 festival.
We can't wait for the next one.
