It may have been the hottest day of the year so far but Matisse were off on their travels. A day exploring RHS Wisley. Although the coach journey is often a favourite part of the day it probably was for Year 2 as they watched a film on the coach (what a treat). 
Once at RHS Wisley Matisse had an amazing time. Carl our guide was so friendly and incredibly knowledgable. We learnt about what plants need, planted our own cornflowers, went on a nature scavenger hunt and explored the different temperate zones in the glasshouse!

Another exciting event was seeing a baby sequoia tree! We told our guide all about our schools link to sequoia trees!

What a wonderful but exhausting day. Thank you to all the adults that helped make it since a success.
